KITEFEST ALASKA 2010 (June 4 – 6)
This year's KiteFest is upon us! Like last year, we are planning everything bigger, better & safer than the year before. KiteFest 2010 will include:
-Trainer Kite classes all day every day
-Kiteboaridng safety/self rescue classes
-One on one instruction in the water & on the beach
-Competitions including: kite inflating comp, downwind comp, etc
-Free & for sale gear from our awsome sponsors
-Used kite gear swap meet
-Movie night with the hottest new kite flicks
-Kiter dinner w/ gear giveaway & fundraising auction

& for the first time ever: KiteSurf Alaska T-shirts & stickers for sale as an event fundraiser!

We are still putting together the roster of classes for this year, but I will say that this year's fest will focus on safety & getting new kiters going with all the tools to kite safely. Two KiteFest organizers are now certified PASA kiteboarding instructors & will insure participants get into kiting in the safest & most enjoyable way possible.
